Dear Friends,
As you know, I have announced my candidacy for senator of the 16th District in Missouri.
After many discussions with my family and friends, I have decided that now is the time for a change in the way we are represented in the Missouri Senate. I feel that we need someone who will be the same person in Jefferson City that they are in the coffee shop at home. We need someone who is more worried about the citizens of the 16th District than they are about cashing checks from big unions and PACs as is show in the "Watch Those Dollars" link. We need someone that is willing to stand up and fight for the people that sent them to our state's capitol and not their liberal leadership. We need real change!
I think the choice between myself and my opponent is clear, all you have to do is look at our voting records on government spending or even just look at what groups are supporting each of us.
I won't have the support coming in from the big labor groups in the cities, that is why I need your help. I hope you will consider clicking on the volunteer or even donate icons, join our team, and be a part of a campaign that is about the 16th District, not outside special interest groups.
I assure you if elected, just as I have done in the Missouri House of Representatives, I will be fighting for YOU!
